Hollywood Painter Healing Painter Metin Bereketli’s Works Welcomed by Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD

Los Angeles, CA, September 16, 2003 – Hollywood Painter and Healing Painter Metin Bereketli, Hollywood’s charitable international artist and the creator of one-of-a-kind “Healing Art” therapeutic art program, has donated a choice collection of his collectible reproductions to Johns Hopkins University Children’s Center, in Baltimore, Maryland.

“We are most grateful for your contribution of artwork,” said Dr. George J. Dover, Director of Department of Pediatrics, at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Dover is also Given Professor of Pediatrics and Professor of Medicine and Oncology at the world-renown Johns Hopkins.

“We at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center were delighted to receive copies of your work to share with our patients and families,” said Dr. Dover. “The posters have been matted and framed and are hanging in various locations – clinics, meeting rooms, and patient areas around the Children's Center.”

“Everyone who sees one of your posters – patients, their families, staff, and visitors – enjoy your work. The images capture their imagination and bring enjoyment and thoughtful reflection,” said Dr. Dover.

“To hear that my paintings bring such joy and comfort to children who need it the most is really the only reward in life that I care for,” said Metin Bereketli, who regularly donates hundreds of reproductions each year to dozens of well-known charities.

An internationally acclaimed Los Angeles based painter, Metin's energizing works have been featured in galleries and exhibitions worldwide including the Smithsonian, Sotheby's Science Center, Paramount Pictures & Universal Studios and Hollywood & Highland.

Metin’s style and generosity has earned him the esteem of many American leaders, such as Presidents Bush and Carter. His work can also be seen on many television programs including Friends, Frazier, ER, Becker, Felicity, Will & Grace, Chicago Hope, The Bold and The Beautiful, Passions, General Hospital, Party of Five, Drew Carrey Show and several other TV and film sets.
