LOS ANGELES, CA - Metin Bereketli, the Los Angeles-based international artist known for his striking DIVERSITY-series of original paintings, has exhibited his p[aintings at House of Blues, West Hollywood, California, June 5, 2003, as a part of the American Society of Young Musicians (ASYM) 11th Annual Spring Concert and Awards night. Metin’s autographed and hand-painted original canvass SYMPHONY was placed on auction for $7.000 dollars at the ASYM event attended by many celebrities and luminaries.

The beautiful and sensous BROOKE BURKE and multi-talented star CRIS JUDD were co-hosts of the spectacular night during which KELLY CLARKSON received the Favorite Up-and-Coming Artist Award, TALIB KWELI received Favorite Hip-Hop Artist Award, BRIAN MCKNIGHT was recognized with Favorite Male Vocalist Award, and "DOWNTOWN" JULIE BROWN was honored with Musicians Advocate Award.

The non-profit ASYM is a dynamic organization led by its president Jarvee E. Hutcherson and boasts such stellar industry names on its Honorary Executive Committee as John Mellencamp, Whitney Houston, James Taylor, Madonna, Bonnie Raitt, Quincy Jones, Christina Aguilera, Tina Turner, Little Richard, George Clinton, Al Jarreau and many others.

The proceeds from ASYM’s 11th Annual Spring Benefit Concert provides support for such worthwhile causes as shared housing referral program, low cost and no-cost dental assistance to young creators in need, legal and contractual consultation, artists workshops and invaluable scholarships for young talents.

“It was my pleasure to contribute to the success of such an important event,” said Metin Bereketli, who regularly donates the proceedings of his original artwork and autographed reproduction sales to charities.

An internationally acclaimed Los Angeles based painter, Metin's contemporary works have been featured in galleries and exhibitions worldwide including the Smithsonian, Sotheby's Science Center, Paramount Pictures & Universal Studios and Hollywood & Highland.
