Lou Rawls

December 1, 1933 - January 6, 2006

A great musician and a fine human being. May he rest in peace

Lou Rawls has affected people around the world through his music. He has also individually touched the lives of many through his thirty-year pet project, the United Negro College Fund. He has tried to help make this a better world to live in, believing that "a mind is a terrible thing to waste."

It is a compliment to Lou that he was an entertainer who truely loved people and was always available for a smile, a word, a handshake, a picture or an autograph wherever he went.

Lou will be greatly missed.
